More wonderful vows can be found online to inspire you if you google “wedding vows”, such as from the E-magazine The Knot. The best vows are yours that you put together yourselves, inspired by the ideas you find.

If needed, the bride and groom will be speaking into a hand microphone, while repeating short phrases after the minister. It is not necessary to memorize any vows. This way you will sound smooth and everyone can hear you. 

The bride and groom may be substituted by bride and bride or groom and groom. Universal Life Church ministers acknowledge all true love in any form. The vows can also be changed up, so that each person’s vow is different instead of identical, as on this page. The wedding is as you wish it to be!

Another even more meaningful way to offer vows to each other is each partner writes out a simple love letter about all the memorable things that are so endearing to them about the other and a few personal moments that you want to share with your family of beloved guests. This has turned out to be one of the highlights of the ceremony which has worked magically in my most recent weddings because it is so real and personal.

I am comfortable performing wedding ceremonies in any environment, such as at a beach, a boutique hotel, a backyard home garden, a botanical garden, a city park, a mountain top, a professional wedding venue, or in a large hotel resort ballroom. If you need help choosing a venue, I can help.

I will help each person in your wedding party understand their role in the wedding procession, for the entire ceremony. Music helps set the mood, and I can bring a small sound system if needed. It will be a fun and easy wedding ceremony for you, I give you my promise.

Any ceremony we create together can have the religious traditions you require. No two weddings I have co-created have been the same. Each one was treated as a unique and blessed event. I have been officiating weddings since 2008.

Your officiant is the ringleader of your wedding. Choose wisely. This choice can make the difference between a short, sweet, joyous and uplifting ceremony or a long and boring one where the minister is enjoying the sound of his own voice. I know, because it happened to me at my second wedding and at many weddings I have witnessed as a guest over the years. 10 to 15 minutes is the most anyone wants to sit and listen to a minister outside of a church sermon on a Sunday. My first marriage had a perfect wedding ceremony and was conducted by a Universal Life minister like myself. His wedding words were so sweet and heartfelt. He inspired me to want to do this work too.
